* - The last race (odd heat) will begin no later than 15 minutes before the end of that session.
Registration:
There will be a limit of 20 boats allowed to register. Registration will be on a “first received – first registered” basis. If more than 20 registrations are received, a waiting list will be established. Entries are mail in. Follow entry form instruction.
Race Format:
Scoring will be the low points system for fleet racing. Throw outs will be allowed as defined in the Sailing instructions. If more than 14 boats are entered the race director may split the fleet into heats. If the fleet is split, the TWEET odd/even scoring system shall be used.
Rules:
The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2021 – 2025 as modified by appendix E RC Boat Racing Rules, by the AMYA J Class rules and by the Sailing instructions for this event.

Telemetry:
With the exception of the boat’s battery state of charge, all other telemetry, including imaging is prohibited.
Eligibility:
Any owner of a J Class yacht registered with the AMYA J Class who is also a current member of AMYA or his/her appropriate national authority may participate.
Inspection:
All boats will be subject to inspection, including weighing, before or at any time during the regatta in order to verify compliance with AMYA J Class Rules
Frequency Assignments:
Every effort will be made to assign your primary frequency. If a conflict arises, frequencies will be allocated on a “first come – first served “basis. If an alternative channel is required, the entrant will be notified as soon as possible. This does not apply to 2.4 GHz radios.
Awards:
Red chevrons are supplied by the AMYA for the first three places. Trophies will be awarded for at least the top 25% of the fleet.
Lunches:
Lunches will be included in the entry fee for both Saturday and Sunday. Additional lunches for guests can be ordered.
Accommodations:
Local Hotels include Holiday Inn Express 474 W. Parkcenter Blvd, Spring Hill by Marriot 424 E. Parkcenter Blvd and many others just minutes away in Downtown Boise.
Entry:
Entry deadline will be April 1, 2021 or when 20 registrations have been received. The entry fee will be $60.00 and must be submitted with the entry form. Included in the fee is the racing, trophies, lunch for both days, assorted snacks and drinks and other items. Guest lunches are an additional $5.00 per day. Registrations received by March 1, 2021 will receive an early bird discount of $10.00.
Additional Information:
As registrations are received, the website will be updated to include the list of participants with their name, hometown and frequency assignments.
A no host dinner is planned for Saturday evening. Details to be announced later.
